Home!

Home! Indeed. Yesterday, after some serious sandwich enjoying at Black Sheep, followed by coffee loving at Starbucks and painful goodbyes, I packed up the Malibu and headed home. My car, which is already writing its obituary, was very angry at me for loading it so heavily and then forcing it to drive up and down hills... with its bum wheel (or something.. we don't really know and are scared to get it checked!). But we made it home. All the stuff taking over the floor space caused a mini freak out... so I spent 4 hours rearranging, cleaning, and reorganizing my whole room. YOWZA! Now it looks awesome, though, and is totally functional. I slept a ridiculously long time today, which I rarely do, and just returned from grocery shopping with the fatherman.

In response to Alice G and Michaela F, I too will post some goals for this blog.
1. Update regularly- I hope to find something to write about on a regular basis. Or at least post some pictures...

2. Take and Post Pictures- I feel like Worcester has a bad rep (and maybe rightly so), but we do have some cool places around here. My friend recently did the same type of thing in her LJ, so I'll probably end up copying a couple of her locations, but it shows a nice side to the city. Plus... I can totally post pics from low-income/ ghettos around here to show both sides.... but definitely only during the day... night is not the safest time haha...

3. FOOD- I love food. Big news. haha, no, but I would like to learn/ experiment with new combinations of flavor.

4. BOOKS- Okay, so I say this every summer, but I really want to read a bunch of books this summer. I have a full bookshelf next to my computer (nicely rearranged and alphabetized as of yesterday) and there are SO MANY books in there that I haven't read but remembering buying or borrowing and thinking "I can't wait to read this!" So maybe I can use this as an inspiration to post about the books I'm reading.

5. Watch Growth- Sounds ridiculous, but I'd like to be able to look back at this and see how I've grown. Kind of like that 365 Days of Photos thing or whatever, but less frequent. This semester was definitely something else, and watching how I'll grow and change as a result of some of the events of this semester could be really great.

Hope you all are well!

  1. Of course Worcester has a bad rep seeing as for some reason those of us in Worcester have terrible attitudes. Help out a stranger? No. Smile at someone? No. Say please and thank you to a cashier? No. We aren't friendly. Remember when I came to visit you at school and someone was like "Dude we were wrong! They are nice!" hahahha I dont live up to the typical Worcester way
